Material Matters

Developing internal technical know how is vital to our firms continued explorations into the intersection of digital tools and the built environment.  We traveled to Brooklyn NY to undertake a two day course with modelab, that delved into the processes of transmitting metaphysical inputs into digital programs (grasshopper/paneling tools/rhinocam) then prototyping the inputs into the physicality of the material characteristics and cutting tools. In addition to bringing these capabilities in house, we also collaborate with other CNC capable manufacturers and designers to increase our bandwidth of design options for our clients.
