​J. Neal Design is proudly located in Baltimore, MD and has been providing services to the community and beyond for 15+ years. We are focused on offering fabrication, architecture, development and education (F.A.D.E.) services to our clients and collaborators. Ranging from small scale fabrication projects to large scale architectural developments, we endeavor to provide efficient and holistic design solutions that account for the client’s and community’s environmental, social and economic needs.
The Principal, Jason Neal, ​founded this firm on a simple belief: architecture is a hands-on service. The firms passion is guiding clients through the complex journey of design and construction to create spaces that are not only beautiful but are also healthier, more efficient, and deeply connected to community.​

Our Experience
Licensed architects in Maryland, Virginia, DC, and New Jersey, We've had the privilege of leading a diverse range of commercial, residential, mixed-use, and retail projects and directing technical aspects of artwork installations. Our work is rooted in a deep understanding of modern building science—especially deep energy retrofits, Passive House standards, digital fabrication and manufacturing and the rich architectural fabric of our region.
